Are you a passionate and driven Chef ready to take the next step in your career? We're on the lookout for a strong Sous Chef or experienced Head Chef to lead our busy kitchen in a family-friendly, high-volume pub on the stunning Central Coast.
What You'll Do
* Oversee day‑to‑day kitchen operations in a fast‑paced, high‑volume venue
* Lead, train and inspire your kitchen team to deliver consistent, high‑quality meals
* Create and implement menus that showcase fresh, local produce and align with the venue's brand
* Manage food costs, stock control, ordering and wastage
* Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards are strictly adhered to
* Work closely with management to deliver exceptional customer experiences
* Build and develop your own kitchen team – recruit, train, and mentor staff
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a busy pub, club, or restaurant environment
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and grow your team
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
* A creative approach to menu design and food presentation
* Sound understanding of cost control and kitchen financials
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Must have full working rights in Australia ( No sponsorship available)
