Your new role:As the Maintenance Planner at Hanwha Defence Australia, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient management of mission role systems and major assemblies maintenance planning at the Hanwha Armoured Centre of Excellence (H-ACE). You will be responsible for managing program schedules, capacity, material and labour requirements to support projects and business requirements to maintaining mission systems and spares availability in multiple fleets at the H-ACE including the key repairable items. Key stakeholders will include internal and external customers managing the end-to-end RFQ to Invoice processes, Maintenance Workshop staff executing the plan and remote Field Service Representatives where required.
Your primary areas of responsibilities:Planning resource allocation and levelling to ensure successful delivery of contractual commitments within capability of the H-ACECreation of maintenance work orders developed from inspections from technical staffManage the scheduling of maintenance activities within their allocated areas and maintenance work groupsEnsure labour requirements support the planLiaising with supply chain to ensure material requirements support the planEnsure capacity of maintenance bays and areas are managed appropriatelyReviewing and Reporting on the feedback and problems encountered during maintenance, repair and overhaul facilitiesAssist Maintainers/FSR’s in maintenance activities, if required, in times of surgeManagement of ERP maintenance module for master data and maintenance work orders
About youAs an ideal candidate you will have:Certificate 3 in relevant trade (Mechanical or Electrical)Proven experience (at least 5 years’ experience) as a mobile fleet Maintenance Planner or similar, preferably in defence industriesExperience using SAP or similar ERP maintenance modulesExperience in a maintenance workshop environmentDetail oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organisational and time management skillsAble to take direction and prioritise multiple channels of workExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAble to maintain and tactfully manage relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProficient using Microsoft office suiteEnjoys and thrives when working under pressureAble to work independently and collaboratively while delivering high quality work to internal customersOrganised, punctual with the ability to work consistently and with discipline without direct supervision
