Role Overview
Reporting directly to the South Australian General Manager, the Factory Manager is responsible for leading safe daily plant operations, ensuring production schedules are achieved and the highest quality standards are maintained, whilst fostering a strong safety-first culture
Key responsibilities include :-
* Overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved;
* Leading the implementation of safety policies and protocols to maintain a strong safety-first culture;
* Managing cost reporting and implementing cost-effective strategies across the manufacturing function;
* Ensuring product quality by following the General Specification Manual and managing customer care returns;
* Mentoring and developing the manufacturing team whilst driving continuous improvement methodologies.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field, or have 5+ years of upper management experience in a manufacturing environment. You will demonstrate strong leadership and organisational capability, knowledge of production management principles and the ability to make critical decisions in real time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to travel interstate as required.
