* A fixed-term full-time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public Service until 31st December 2026
* VPS Grade 5: $113,022 - $136,747 plus superannuation.

About the Business Unit:

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers justice and community safety systems that work to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria.

Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes.

About the Role:

Information Records Archival Management team provides essential advisory support services to the department its Ministers, entities, and administrative offices. We support the governance, and lifecycle management of the department's information holdings regardless of which technology tools are used. This includes the provision of mail services. We work closely with other information management enabler teams including - Information Privacy Unit, (IPU); Information and Cyber Security teams; and other key teams in Technology Solutions.

Some of your duties will include:

* Delivering key initiatives of the department's Information Management Framework and Strategy in partnership with business units, regional offices and Correctional Services
* Providing high-level advice and direction with regards to information architectures, guidelines and frameworks which support the department's business requirements and regulatory obligations
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of the department's Information and Data Management Policy, associated Standards, guides and tools.

About You:

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

* Demonstrated experience in leading the design of M365 information architectures, incorporating recordkeeping standards, compliance configurations, settings and compliance reporting
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of information and recordkeeping practices, standards and requirements in large diverse organisations, including metadata management, access and security management, retention and disposal requirements, including digital archiving
* Demonstrated experience in the development, delivery and review of policies, standards and guidelines.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Management/Recordkeeping is desirable and/or minimum 5 years' experience in the fields of Information and/or Data Management.
