About the role
TheRegistry Manageris responsible for coordinating the physical and human resources for the work team. They provide an advisory service to internal and external customers in relation to practices and procedures of the Magistrates Court of Western Australia. The role supports the Clerk of the Court managing the work area, leadership, guidance and training, undertakes non-judicial functions of the court by presiding over a range of judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings, as well as providing administrative support and effective case management of court sittings for the judiciary.
TheTeam Leaderis responsible for leading the judicial support team, under management; who provide support to Magistrates and Registrars in the effective case management of court sittings. The role maintains a focus on ensuring a high quality of service delivery through the effective management of resources including planning, scheduling and controlling daily work activity and managing the training and development of staff.
These roles require a good understanding of court practices and procedures, a customer service focus, leadership capabilities with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve commons goals in a team environment.
