Overview
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to support the delivery of engineering design, project coordination, and technical documentation across a range of infrastructure and mining‐related projects. This role is ideal for someone with several years of practical experience who is looking to broaden their engineering capability in a dynamic project environment. The usual place of work will be the Company's Corporate Office; however, you may be required to work at Karlawinda Gold Project and Mt Gibson Gold Project (Site) or locations from time to time as necessary.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and review civil engineering drawings and documentation, including site layouts, plans, and sections.
* Undertake pipeline and pumping system design, including pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and pump selection.
* Conduct earthworks design, including cut‐and‐fill modelling and stormwater considerations.
* Contribute to concrete design tasks, such as footings, slabs, pits, and structural support elements.
* Assist with the coordination of project activities, schedules, budgets, and contractors in a Project Engineer capacity.
* Maintain accurate records and apply document control principles across all deliverables.
* Support project teams with technical queries, design reviews, and construction support.
* Participate in site visits for inspections, measurements, and project meetings.
* Interface with geotechnical consultants to ensure design compliance.
Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar related degree.
* Demonstrated design and drafting experience (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
* Experience with pipeline design, pipe sizing, and pump selection.
* Earthworks design capability and understanding of relevant standards.
* Concrete design experience (preferably industrial or mining environments).
* Strong general computer literacy and understanding of document control processes.
* Maintain Statutory compliance with The Work Health and Safety Act 2020 ("WHS Act").
* Minimum 5+ years' civil engineering experience.
* Valid work rights in Australia are required for this position.
* Exposure to the mining or gold processing industries.
* Mechanically minded or experience working alongside mechanical engineers.
* Familiarity with multidisciplinary project delivery.
