An exciting opportunity is here for our existing Water Quality Technicians to step up and make a splash as Team Leader!
As a team leader you will deliver high standards of expertise in all aspects of swimming pool maintenance producing a clean well-presented and a safe swimming environment.
Responsibilities
- As Team Leader, you will dive into a mix of hands-on pool care, team guidance and daily operations.
- Have a complete understanding of all pool chemicals and their safe use and storage requirements.
- Have a full understanding of all VRTP water quality procedures and policies.
- Understand and be able to operate all automated chemical metering and dosing equipment.
- Assist with maintaining stock levels of all pool chemicals and associated equipment.
- Have a complete understanding of daily maintenance procedures for all equipment and ensure the equipment is maintained to a high standard.
- Ensure all Mobaro generated work orders are completed within scheduled time frames ensuring a shared workload is performed.
- Responsible for the daily operations of the team in the absence of the supervisor.
- Liaise with external contractors when required.
- Source quotations for parts and stock requirements.
- Create and delegate Mobaro assignments, also approve completed tasks in the system.
- Check and respond to emails as required for important updates.
Qualifications
- Must be a current Level T2 Water Quality Technician
- Current QLD Pool Operators certificate and willing to complete Cert IV in Swimming Pool & Spa Service is essential.
- Forklift license is desirable
- Sound knowledge of operating UV systems
- Experience operating Neptune Benson filtration systems and all other systems within the VRTP theme parks Group / Resorts & Hotels.
- Understanding of pneumatic valves and actuators
- Sound understanding of filtration plans & drawings
- Be willing to follow the performance management tools when required to do so
- Be willing to learn SAP
