About this role Production Superintendent (Rooftile Factory) Vermont, VIC Exciting opportunity to lead the production team in our Clay Rooftile Factory in Vermont, Victoria. Genuine career progression and training provided. Diverse and Inclusive team! About the role The Production Superintendent role is a Full-Time position, based at Vermont, VIC. Reporting to Manufacturing Manager you will provide people and process leadership to the Monier Rooftiles Production teams, ensuring the team's health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised. In this role, you will: Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past. Full accountability for production staff and day to day production operations to ensure delivery within the Monier rooftile (Clay) factory. Mentor, train, and support team members and hold them accountable to deliver production, quality and safety objectives. Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other parts of the areas. Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required. Experience in analysing data and reporting. Experience in LEAN manufacturing experience will be considered highly advantageous. What you bring to the role A strong commitment to safety awareness Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry. Tertiary qualifications in Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person) Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment What is on offer We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
