Overview
Night Cook: OSM Thome have an opportunity available for a Night Cook, initially on a casual basis, with the potential for permanent employment.
Roster: 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off
Location: Western Australia (Broome)
Responsibilities
* Actively participate in pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
* Follow onsite Food Safety Management Procedures at all times.
* Prepare and serve meals in line with the approved menu, maintaining a high standard of quality and presentation.
* Prepare crib options in line with the approved menu to a high standard.
* Prepare bread, pastries, slices and dessert options in line with the approved menu.
* Ensure compliance with the contracted Scope of Work (SOW).
* Assist the Chef Manager with meal preparation for all personnel onsite.
* Supervise and assist the Kitchen Dining Utility with cleaning of the kitchen and provisions storage areas.
* Assist the Chef Manager with inventory management, and the planning of provisions and stores.
* Assist with unloading, storing and rotating provisions and supplies.
Requirements
* Ability to pass Fitness for Duty (company and industry standard)
* Proven knowledge of HACCP principles and reporting
* WA Driver's Licence
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Perth or Broome based
