The Y Goldfields in Kalgoorlie is a welcoming centre where people feel engaged, safe, and a strong sense of belonging. Our facilities include an Out of School Hours Care service, a health club, and a variety of youth programs designed to support young people's development in body, mind, and spirit.
We are currently seeking a perm Part-Time Cleaner for our Kalgoorlie Regional Leisure Centre. In this role, you will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the centre, ensuring it is presented professionally for our community. Check your awesome perks below

What you'll be doing
You'll be involved in undertaking daily cleaning of the centre, working independently to complete all tasks within the allocated timeframe, and maintaining dedication to creating a welcoming environment for the community and patrons. It also includes ensuring adequate stock levels of cleaning products and adhering to all YMCA WA procedures and policies. The position requires working 40 hours per fortnight (equivalent to 20 hours per week).
You'll be great in this role if you…
* Are able obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children Card.
* Have ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.
* Have familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
* Are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
* Are physically able to perform the duties required for the role.
* Have knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and their proper usage.
Have willingness and ability to obtain necessary First Aid certifications.
