We are currently looking for a payroll clerk to join our people team
This role will report into our Senior Payroll Officer and will be responsible for processing and administration of the payroll function for our franchisee network.

This position is perfect for someone wanting to flex their payroll knowledge as well as learn franchising and company owned payroll processes.
This includes system management/maintenance as well as processing end to end payroll and reporting requirements.
About the role
Assist with administration of the fortnightly payroll for up to 800 franchisee employees
Assist with franchise and employee enquiries
Maintaining payroll systems
Payroll administration – e.g. setting up new starters, data entry and employee file management
Assisting Senior Payroll Officer in all other payroll duties
Various admin support duties as required
The ideal candidate
Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced environment
Understanding of Fast Food and Restaurant Industry Awards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including professional and courteous phone manner
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
Quick learner
Positive attitude, experience working in a team environment
High attention to detail
Speed and accuracy in data entry
Microsoft Office skills, including MS Word and MS Excel
Experience using payroll systems (Access Micropay), time and attendance systems (Tanda) are an advantage
