The Commercial Lead oversees building and maintaining relationships with growers, retailers, and key industry stakeholders both in Australia and overseas, and monitors growers' needs for plant purchases. This role provides pre- and post-sale customer service, advising growers on varietal commercial performance to foster positive and long-term business partner relations aligned with global commercial strategy.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

* To execute from a commercial perspective the strategic goals within regions included in the BU, under the leadership of the General Manager.
* Serve as the primary interface for the day-to-day engagement of Licensees in the region, with focus on establishing/maintaining sustainable and long-term relationships.
* Lead commercial activities and support strategic marketing initiatives.
* Visit licensees with varieties growing at commercial scale, at testing stage or pre commercialization.
* Provide post sale customer service and commercial information associated to the performance of the different varieties and updated information regarding current and upcoming varieties.
* To facilitate compliance requirements for trademark agreements. Initial requirement for ordering within the regional framework.
* Visit growers, cold storages, retailers and export markets during harvest and grape/blueberries season to ensure compliance with trademark agreements and quality standards.
* Understand License system and company's payment conditions. Follow internal rules and procedures related to License System and payment process.
* Coordination of Open Days and tours. Help coordinate grower visits to commercial farms and test block.
* Assist in technical tasks with the Technical team to understand technical particularities of each of the varieties and offer support if/where relevant.
* GPS and geo-referencing of the new commercial plots through the internal system.
* Verify and audit fields that have removed any company's varieties and incorporate any update on the system.
* Definition with General Manager BU on the planting forecast following annual objective of the company.
* Manage the product lifecycle and associated revenue streams (royalties) for each of the varieties.
* Schedule and supervise planting audits, validate data and update database within specified deadlines.
* Inform Legal team to initiate contract schedule updates and Finance team to initiate planting royalties.
* Prepare, distribute, receive, and review from Licensees royalty reports and work closely with Finance team members to meet specified billing and collection deadlines.
* Review and assess royalty reports provided to evaluate season's results vs budgeted figures.
* Assist in post-harvest operations and fruit quality evaluations.
* Help plan, organize, and coordinate activities to support the development of the new varieties.
* Report to Management meetings periodically and attend staff meetings.
* Work with peers to ensure CRM is up to date, compliant, and current.
* In conjunction with the Operations Manager, work with Nurseries to follow up on plant material to connect with commercial requirements.
* Other duties as assigned, required by the company.

ORGANIZATION: REPORTS & PEOPLE IN CHARGE

* Reporting to: The GM BU
* People in charge: None
* Close collaborations with: Transversal Departments within the BU (Technical, Commercial, Quality Assurance, and R&D) and other BUs.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

* Education: Bachelor's degree in an agribusiness, science, or business.
* Professional Experience: 6+ years' experience in Horticulture. With a vast knowledge of the local market and the sector.
* Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and statistical analysis programs.
* Licenses: Valid driving license and clean record.
* Proactive attitude and flexibility in a changing/growing work environment.

* English (fluent)

* Yes - Across the region/s; frequently in the region. Occasionally, to other countries/HQ for specific meetings.
