Business Intelligence Lead (Microsoft Fabric)

Our client is rebuilding their entire data platform on Microsoft Fabric and they need a hands‐on leader to own the end‐to‐end delivery, from migrating existing pipelines to building net‐new capabilities.
You will lead a small team (3 people), set technical direction, and bridge the gap between the data team, implementation partner, and business stakeholders.
What You'll Do
* Lead the Fabric rebuild: architecture, ETL/ELT, data modelling, governance
* Champion AI – identify and deliver practical use cases (Copilot, Azure OpenAI, Fabric AI)
* Mentor a team of analysts/engineers while staying hands‐on
* Manage legacy (SQL Server, Pentaho) and decommission it post‐migration
* Own Power BI reporting and stakeholder communication
What You Bring (Required)
* Hands‐on Microsoft Fabric experience
* Strong SQL, data modelling, and medallion architecture experience
* Team leadership or technical mentoring on a major platform project
* Power BI proficiency
* Stakeholder skills – able to translate technical to business language

* This role requires being in the office three days per week.
