Tradesperson – Fixed Plant Boilermaker
We have a position at the KCGM Operation, a world class mine with a +10 year lifespan, offering a 7/7 (12 hour day) roster.

* Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes. Active participation in all communication and awareness systems. Promoting health and safety work practices with peers, contractors, and suppliers.
* Operate in accordance with the Company's Environmental Policy, and comply with other site environmental policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Display a clear commitment to responsible environmental management.
* Adhere to the clean‐shaven policy while working in the Processing Plant. Manage all activities in a manner that prevents pollution and minimises damage to the natural environment. Manoeuvre around machinery and machinery compartments.
* Through the use of procedures to get the job done, ensure that improvements to the procedures are captured and changes are made to controlled documents by custodian. Ensure the execution of all boilermaking maintenance activities for the Process Plant.
* Ensure effective communication of work, issues and conditions status takes place with delegate prior to departure from site. Receive and discuss daily instructions from Supervisor and Leading Hand and maintain statutory records for all equipment in the fixed plant.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* Experience: Experience as a Boilermaker Tradesperson in the mining industry. Able to work as part of a team and foster team building. Work with attention to detail. Keen to learn and asks for assistance where required. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to learn and retain knowledge to apply to day‐to‐day tasks.
* Qualifications: Relevant Trade Qualification & Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
