We’re looking for a Director, Global Process Owner - Payroll to join our Global team.

What you’ll do
The Payroll Global Process Owner sets Worley’s global vision and strategy for our end-to-end Payroll processes. Owns the process design to drive optimisation, performance and compliance across all geographies, functions, and business units. Leverages the delivery capability in the organisation to enable Worley’s strategic aspirations.
Set our vision and drive strategic direction. Optimize Worley’s end-to-end processes and create a greater experience for our people. The Global Process Owner will have significant authority, autonomy, and accountability to fundamentally shift the way processes are owned and managed at Worley. A critical enabler in the establishment of a global process framework at Worley.
Focus on end-to-end process design, documentation, and architecture including enabling systems, data, controls and policies. Monitor end-to-end process performance and compliance globally. Enable projects and initiatives to drive continuous process improvement globally

Responsibilities
Strategy:
* Set and implement a global process excellence vision.
* Establish targets and KPIs for process performance.
Design:
* Define global process taxonomy and benchmark against best practices.
* Ensure alignment and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
* Document global process blueprints and procedures.
Oversight:
* Monitor and analyze process compliance and performance.
* Maintain process-level master data standards.
* Monitor audit outcomes and drive improvement initiatives.
Programme & Project Management:
* Prioritize and approve/reject projects based on strategic relevance.
* Launch projects, outline plans, and manage resources.
* Monitor ongoing transformation projects and manage budgets.
What you’ll have
As an experienced professional, you’re adept at managing large, global payrolls for complex organisations. Skilled in end-to-end payroll management, previously serving as a GPO in a multinational environment. Expertise in setting and overseeing priorities, resources, and performance targets globally. Proven track record in managing complex program portfolios and driving measurable success. Proficient in process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Six Sigma, and Lean, with certification desirable.
Strong in process ownership and management, with deep knowledge of mapping, analysis, and optimization techniques. Familiar with ERP systems, workflow automation tools, and data management systems. Capable of identifying optimization opportunities through data analysis and executing effective change management strategies. Strategic thinker with dynamic leadership skills, able to inspire cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite and experienced in cloud-based platforms like Oracle and ServiceNow for workforce management.
Background in Human Resources or equivalent tertiary degree.
