This Senior Business Analyst sits within a high-performing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) function, focused on how customer identity, authentication, and verification is managed across a large, complex environment. Working across a broad program of work, you will bridge the gap between regulatory requirements, internal policy, and technical delivery. The role plays a key part in shaping identity and authentication processes across multiple channels, with a strong focus on fraud prevention, compliance, and improving the end-to-end customer experience. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across risk, finance, product, engineering, and customer teams, contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives and driving meaningful change across the customer identity lifecycle. Logistics Up to $900.00 p/d super (PAYG) Sydney, NSW (2113), 3 office days per week Initial 12 month contract with strong potential for perm conversion Requirements 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in complex environments Strong experience in CIAM, identity verification, authentication or KYC Background in regulated environments (banking, financial services, government or identity vendors) Experience with identity verification services (e.g. DVS, Equifax, GBG, GreenID or similar) Strong ability to translate regulatory or policy requirements into BA artefacts SQL and data analysis experience with large datasets Strong documentation skills (BRDs, process flows, use cases, UAT) Experience working with vendors and technical teams in delivery environments Nice to have: Background in telco, financial services, or other regulated industries Experience in credit risk or fraud prevention environments Exposure to identity reporting and monitoring frameworks Familiarity with BI or data visualisation tools Responsibilities Lead business analysis across multiple CIAM-related projects and initiatives Translate regulatory obligations, internal policies, and strategic objectives into detailed requirements Develop documentation including business requirements, scope matrices, use cases, process flows, and UAT plans Partner with technical teams to support delivery of identity verification and authentication solutions Contribute to reporting and monitoring across the customer identity lifecycle Identify risks, gaps, and control improvements across identity and authentication processes Maintain visibility of risk and compliance through structured tracking and reporting Work closely with senior stakeholders and SMEs to design fit-for-purpose solutions Bridge program-level objectives with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation Benefits High-profile CIAM program with enterprise-wide impact Strong exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams Opportunity to work on complex identity, risk, and data-led initiatives Flexible hybrid working environment Long-term contract with perm conversion Sound like you?
