Assistant Civil Labourer(s)Roads & Drainage Darwin, Australia Reference: 6538709 Level 1A-Level 2 About the Opportunity We have permanent employment opportunity for a Civil Labourers in our Civil Infrastructure section in our Roads & Drainage team. Based at our Operations facility in Winnellie, this position is required to perform general civil labouring duties to support the maintenance and construction of the Council's civil infrastructure including roads, drains, footpaths, driveways, cycle paths, disabled access, and public places. You must enjoy working as part of a team and be comfortable and capable of working full days in the outdoor environment that we have here in the NT. As a Civil Labourer it is expected that you are flexible, reliable, accountable and able to work well with fellow team members. To be considered for this role you must: Hold and maintain a Class C driver's licence. Hold a General Construction Industry - White Card For Level 1 role you must additionally hold: Certificate II in Construction or equivalent qualification and/or a minimum 2 years relevant experience Medium Rigid (MR) Licence Work Zone Traffic Management 2 & 3 For Level 2 role you must additionally hold: Certificate III in Construction Plant Operations and/or Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification Minimum of three years civil construction/concrete experience Medium Rigid (MR) Licence Work Zone Traffic Management 2 & 3 For full details of the positions or other essential and desirable requirements please refer to the position description (Level1A). The positions have a start base salary of $60,085.87 per annum, negotiable based pre-requisites (Level 1 or 2), plus superannuation.
