Job Title : Senior Analyst, Credit

Reports to : Head of Credit & Operations
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES:
Primarily responsible for overseeing the preparation of credit proposals for Credit Committee approval. The role will also be responsible for performing due diligence, loan management and relevant ongoing compliance work. The role provides for a wide variety of responsibilities and interactions with various stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
* Support Head of Credit & Credit Manager in undertaking relevant due diligence, project feasibility, financial analysis and supporting information for potential credit proposals.
* Work collaboratively with Head of Credit & Credit Manager and Investment Team to screen and assess credit worthiness of new loan opportunities.
* Preparation of detailed and succinct credit proposals and presenting to Credit Committee
* Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders, covering the end-to-end credit application process through to settlement including pre and post settlement conditions
* Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of all loan files and reporting.
* Analysis of monthly QS progress reports, liaising with stakeholders and provision of progress payments.
* Full and partial discharges, variations and consents, conditions subsequent and general administration.
* Accurate input and maintenance of Loan System (Finpower)
* Assisting with Legal/Recovery Action/Works outs
* Compliance with company risk and compliance policies and procedures
* Assist Head of Credit, Credit Manager and Operations to prepare and update all necessary compliance and regulatory reporting internally and externally, including but not limited to ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC and FIRB.
* Ongoing review and improvement of policy, procedures, templates, and tools
* Ad Hoc/other duties as requested from time to time to assist wider Business
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
* Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in commerce, business, property or another related field.
* Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in banking/non-bank and/or finance industry preferably within Property and/or Development Finance.
* Proven ability and experience writing a diverse range of Credit Proposals concisely.
* Strong financial information analysis and interpretation skills along with familiarity and analysis of Valuations and Quantity Surveyor reports.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with a commitment to collaboration and teamwork to support the Credit Team and Investment Teams whilst providing excellent customer service.
* Ability to make a difference through continuous improvement of processes, templates, tools and procedures with an aspiration for self-development and to grow with the business.
