Project Specialist– 9 Month Contract We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Specialist with solid Project Management and Business Analyst capabilities, to join a reputable and well-established organisation based in Brisbane. This is a 9-month initial contract role where you will get to lead and coordinate business-critical projects that directly contribute to operational efficiency and organisational growth. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining the flexibility of remote work with regular on-site collaboration for key meetings, stakeholder workshops, and project reviews. Location Hybrid – Brisbane-based, with regular office attendance required. Role Overview The Project Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple concurrent projects across a range of business functions. You will be responsible for driving delivery, managing stakeholders, and ensuring outcomes are achieved on time. This role is well suited to a highly organised professional with strong project co-ordination experience, complemented by business analysis capabilities to support requirements gathering, risk identification, and solution alignment. Key Responsibilities Co-ordinate with teams to drive projects in line with agreed scope, timelines, and budgets Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests Lead stakeholder engagement, including requirement gathering, and regular status reporting Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, operations, logistics, and supply chain Ensure governance, quality standards, and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle Track and report on project performance, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives Support documentation, including business cases, project plans, RAID logs, and closure reports Project Scope The portfolio includes a mix of technically complex and business-critical initiatives, including: Enhancements and integrations within SAP environments (Inventory Management, 3PL, Order Processing, EDI) Non-SAP initiatives, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and related systems Cross-functional process improvements spanning operations, supply chain, and technology Skills & Experience Proven experience in project coordination, project management, or PMO roles Exposure to SAP environments or ERP-based projects highly desirable Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) Solid understanding of project governance, reporting, and documentation Business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and process mapping, are highly regarded Ideal Candidate Profile This role is ideally suited to a Business Analyst or PMO Analyst/Administrator looking to step up their project management abilities.
