Blackwell Short are currently searching for a full-time staff member to join our property team who is studying or wishes to commence studying to become a licensed conveyancer. To be successful in this role you will be highly motivated, have a professional presentation and a positive attitude.
The role
Supporting our solicitors and licensed conveyancer in all areas of conveyancing including buying and selling residential, commercial and farming property, leasing and buying and selling businesses. You will liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers and banks to ensure that the conveyancing process is as smooth as possible for our clients. Your day-to-day task will be PEXA file management, maintaining electronic and paper files, preparing draft documents and correspondence, being a point of contact with clients, maintaining professional and courteous communication at all times, invoicing and collaborating with the broader team.
