About the Role
Based in our Hope Valley, WA Branch, we are seeking a detail orientated and proactive accounts and payroll professional to join our Accounts & Business Services team.
If you enjoy a challenge and multi-faceted role that will keep you interested, this is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in keeping our business services (payroll and credit control) and accounts operations running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across all transactions.
Responsibilities include:
Payroll:
* Manage and co-ordinate outsourced payroll services for timely processing of regular pay cycles, ad hoc payroll and superannuation guarantee contributions
* Verify and ensure accurate calculations for payroll relative to entitlements, including relevant Award entitlements
Credit Control:
* Administration of credit control (inc bad debt management)
* Maintain credit limits and credit block
* Supervise Accounts Clerks for credit control related activities
Cash Flow Management:
* Oversee payment runs
* Ensure authorisation of relevant fund transfers
* Analyse and forecast multi-currency cashflows
* Manage online banking system authorisation access
You will also be the right hand person to the Accounts & Business Services Manager supporting in daily relevant operations and functional areas.
Your skills will include:
* Certificate IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping or equivalent qualifications (desirable)
* Proven minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Senior Accounts & Payroll Position
* Demonstrated experience in completing payroll services and related compliance
* Proven experience in credit control and full function accounts
* Strong written and verbal communication and organisational skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
* Proactive and commitment to accuracy
* Previous experience in payroll (desirable)
* Exposure to manufacturing or a fast-paced operational environment (desirable)
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
