Technical Services Manager Regional NSW | Leadership Role | Surface & Underground Operations
We are currently partnering with a leading mining operation in regional New South Wales to appoint a Technical Services Manager. This is a key site-based leadership role, with full accountability for the delivery and performance of Technical Services across the operation.

About the Role
As the Technical Services Manager, you will lead and set the strategic direction for all technical functions on site, ensuring safe, efficient, and optimised mining operations. You will play a critical role in supporting both underground and surface mining activities, with a strong focus on geotechnical performance, operational systems, and emerging mining technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all Technical Services functions including mine planning, geotechnical, and operational support
* Provide strategic direction to optimise mining performance and resource recovery
* Oversee geotechnical monitoring, risk management, and ground control strategies
* Drive the implementation and systemisation of advanced/unmanned mining technologies
* Ensure technical alignment with production targets and operational requirements
* Manage and support a small surface mining contract
* Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team
About You
* Proven experience in a senior technical or leadership role within mining
* Strong background in underground mining environments (essential)
* Demonstrated experience across technical services disciplines (planning, geotech, ventilation or related)
* Ability to operate autonomously and influence at a senior operational level
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
