The opportunity
We are looking for an Associate Structural Engineer to join our Adelaide team, contributing to our national industrial and water business. This role is ideal for someone with established experience seeking to lead and develop local teams and work on a diverse range of industrial, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects.
You will have the opportunity to lead structural designs for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs, and treatment facilities along with general light and heavy industrial projects. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll manage end-to-end project delivery, including design, documentation, and construction phase support.

You'll refine your technical expertise, engage directly with clients, and contribute to projects shaping the future of industrial and water infrastructure.
About you
You will be a Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, experienced in the water and wastewater sector and general industrial structures. You have developed a solid foundation in structural design, analysis, and documentation, eager to step into a role with more technical responsibility and client interaction.
You will also bring:
* Proven experience in various aspects of structural engineering, including study involvement, schedule and scope development, detailed design, analysis, construction/commissioning phase support.
* Experience delivering water and wastewater projects in accordance with Australian requirements.
* Experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages, including time-based estimates for deliverables.
* An interest in strengthening and growing existing client connections and supporting the building of relevant new relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
* A working style that embraces collaboration with other disciplines to bring together the best technical expertise.
* A commitment to continuous learning and career progression, with a desire to develop and mentor junior engineers.
