The Role

The Premium Client Manager is focused on retaining and growing Pepperstone's most valuable clients, those generating significant revenue and delivering consistent trading volumes. This role builds relationships to promote Pepperstone, provides tailored solutions to help clients overcome trading challenges, promotes educational and functionality solutions, and engages with traders. The goal is to increase the longevity and success of this segment of traders. As our Premium Client Manager - AU, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

* Developing relationships through various channels with Pepperstone's Premium Client Group to impact their longevity at volume thresholds
* Using industry sources and external channels to build relationships, seek referrals, and increase trading volumes
* Consistently securing and growing premium clients by demonstrating a clear point of difference in experience, market knowledge and personal focus
* Achieving sales targets
* Actively contributing to the premium team and helping others develop
* Being a trusted adviser to premium clients on market and trading-related matters
* Maintaining client interest in trading markets through regular market analysis and trade opportunities
* Assisting in planning and executing client events as required
* Collaborating with internal departments (marketing, operations, risk, development) to gain support for projects
* Organising quarterly premium events including sporting events and conferences
* Meeting clients face to face and attending premium client events to build and nurture relationships


About You

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a phone sales environment
* Experience as an account manager and/or dealing with clients (preferably high net worth)
* Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Proactive attitude and client-first mindset
* Excellent relationship building, customer service and influencing skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for negotiation and conflict resolution
* Sound decision making and critical thinking
* Ability to acquire new knowledge quickly and coach others
* Proficient numerical ability; comfortable working with numbers
* Ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to travel throughout Australia (and overseas ad hoc) as required
* Alignment with Pepperstone values
* Willingness for ongoing learning and development


Preferred but not essential

* Understanding of financial markets, investments, and trading strategies
* Experience with MetaTrader 4 and cTrader
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or similar (highly regarded)
