The Tasmanian Turf Club, home of the iconic Launceston Cup, is seeking an energetic, organised and customer-centric Venue & Events Manager to lead our hospitality and events operations.
This is a rare opportunity to manage high-profile events while enjoying flexible working arrangements, minimal weekend work, and excellent remuneration.
We are open to considering both full-time and part-time candidates. Salary is negotiable based on the days worked and your experience.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for:
* Planning and delivering imaginative and unforgettable events
* Leading venue operations and hospitality services
* Managing, mentoring and supporting a passionate team
* Ensuring outstanding customer experiences across all events
* Coordinating suppliers, logistics, budgets and compliance
* Playing a key role in flagship events including the Launceston Cup
About You
You will bring:
* Proven experience in hospitality, venue or events management
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* A hands-on, customer-focused approach
* The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* A passion for delivering exceptional events and experiences
