The Role of Mechanical Project Engineer


Job Overview

This role is responsible for coordinating design, procurement, and construction elements of the Material Handling Package, including Urea building, conveyor, and ship loader.

* Deliver engineering services to support project outcomes against agreed schedules.
* Produce technically acceptable designs for project execution, adhering to required standards.
* Manage and coordinate design efforts to achieve satisfactory project performance.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant post-graduate engineering experience in construction environments, with expertise in site layout determination, design modeling, geotechnical report review, and foundation design.


Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within budget constraints.

Engineering Design: Produce high-quality deliverables that meet technical requirements.

Team Management: Coordinate team efforts to achieve project goals.


Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have:

* At least 5 years of relevant post-graduate engineering experience in construction environments.
* Strong knowledge of determining site layouts, providing engineering input to design models, reviewing geotechnical reports, and designing foundations, slabs on ground, and retaining structures.
