Therapy Assistant
A trusted and dynamic Therapy Assistant is required to deliver a high-quality care experience to our residents. This exciting opportunity will see you join a supportive team in a modern purpose-built facility, providing the perfect environment for growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing mobility and exercise programs to our residents under the direction of the Physiotherapist.
* Delivering recreational and therapeutic activity programs to our residents under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
* Participating in the organisation and planning of therapy programs.
* Completing accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines.
* Accompanying resident groups on outings.
What We're Looking For
* Hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent qualification.
* A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent/higher qualification or experience.
* Have experience in a similar role, preferably as an Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Empathy with the elderly.
* Full Australian working rights and the ability to pass a national police clearance.
