Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Cablebolt Operators to join the Redpath Cannington Underground team (Queensland). Work a 7 days on/7 days off roster, FIFO available from Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane. This role focuses on Development or Ground Support in an exciting underground environment.
Responsibilities
* Manage the entire cable‑bolting process, ensuring sufficient raw materials and drill consumables are on site at shift start
* Maintain machinery by cleaning and servicing regularly, reporting any mechanical issues immediately
* Accurately complete all required daily activity and safety reporting
Qualifications
* Experience in underground operations and operating cablebolts
* Ability to read and understand cable bolt layouts
* Strong knowledge of ground support standards
* Current First Aid certificate (or ability to obtain before commencement)
* Valid manual driver's licence
* A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done – safely
