As a Software Quality Assurance Manager, you will work with your squads and partner teams to ensure the team deliver high quality software products. You will be responsible for establishing the overall quality practice and processes of a greenfield global platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- developing and maintaining testing strategies and capabilities including manual and automation testing
- formulation and implementation of test first strategies within development squads
- Working closely with software engineering teams and delivery leads to prioritize testing execution and ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborating with product owners, business analysts and other stakeholders to make sure the required business scenarios are covered in the acceptance test criteria and corresponding scripts
- Promote QA productivity through automation tools and SQA best practices
- Proactively raise and manage issues and risks in a timely manner
- 10+ years' experience in software quality management and strategy including building and leading high performing teams
- Shown initiative and leadership by playing a key role in the continued improvement of Testing practices (through adoption of practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevSecOps)
- Excellent test analysis skills, including strong skills in Test Automation
- Experienced in Non-Functional Testing
- Exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to multitask and prioritise to ensure timely delivery
- Experience with automated testing frameworks/tools such as Cypress, Selenium or Puppeteer
- Experience with Behavioural Based Development testing using tools such as Cucumber
- Experience in testing responsive websites in cross-platform testing tools
- Knowledge of testing in cloud hosted solutions
- Strong team management capabilities, and experience in coaching developers on quality assurance and testing
