Our client operates a number of well-known Sport and Recreation centres located in the Northern Suburbs. These centres play a key role in the community, promoting sports, arts, crafts and children's activities to a wide range of people.
They are on the lookout for energetic, hardworking and committed individuals to join the team as Duty Officers and Sports Coaches supporting the development of children's skills in a wide range of sports.
Are you looking to gain further experience in working with children? Perhaps you are studying Teaching, Early Childhood, Sports and Recreation or have an interest in Physical Education? This role may also suit somebody with flexibility who would like to spend time supervising and coaching children.
- What do we need from you?_
- Proven experience in coaching children's sports (For coaching positions only)
- Working with Children Check
- Child Safe Environments Training - Responding to Risk, Harm, Abuse & Neglect -RRHAN
- First Aid / CPR qualification
- National Police Check
- Flexible availability for regular and ad hoc shifts
- Shifts available:_
Duty Officers regularly required on Wednesdays between 4 - 6 pm and Sunday hours ranging between 9:30 am - 3 pm.
Sports Coaches regularly required Wednesday afternoons and Sundays, with possible programs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Both roles may offer additional shifts across their network of Centres.
