CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking experienced RC & Diamond Drilling Supervisors to oversee our clients' exploration operations across multiple sites throughout Western Australia, including the Pilbara and Kimberley regions.
About the Role
We are seeking proactive and experienced Drilling Supervisors with strong backgrounds in RC and/or Diamond drilling to lead high-performing field teams across various WA projects. Operating on a 2:2 FIFO/DIDO roster from Perth, this position offers excellent work-life balance while securing long-term employment with reputable industry operators.
In this leadership role, you will take ownership of field operations, guiding crews to deliver safe, productive, and high-quality drilling outcomes across both RC and Diamond programs. We are looking for hands‐on leaders who set high standards, drive performance, and lead from the front.
You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture across all sites.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate RC and/or Diamond drilling programs across multiple WA exploration sites
* Lead, mentor, and develop field crews to achieve safety and production targets
* Oversee RC operations on Schramm T685 and T685i drill rigs (where applicable)
* Oversee Diamond drilling operations including directional and deep‐hole programs
* Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, statutory, and client requirements
* Manage consumables, stock control, maintenance schedules, and site resources
* Prepare detailed reports covering safety, production, performance, and training metrics
* Identify operational improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
* Maintain strong communication between site teams, senior management, and clients
* Monitor equipment performance and coordinate troubleshooting and field maintenance
* Drive a positive safety culture and enforce site standards at all times
Our Ideal Candidates
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar supervisory role within RC and/or Diamond drilling
* Proven experience managing large‐scale or technically complex drilling campaigns
* Strong mechanical expertise with RC rigs (Schramm T685 & T685i highly regarded)
* Solid understanding of Diamond drilling methods, directional drilling, and core recovery optimisation
* In‐depth knowledge of drilling operations and field maintenance practices
* Certificate IV in Drilling Operations (highly regarded)
* TAEASS402 – Assess Competence (desirable)
* S26 – Statutory Responsibilities for Mining Supervisors (SRMS) (highly regarded)
* Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High‐level commitment to safety, quality, and compliance
* Ability to adapt to changing operational demands
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and reporting systems
* Strong problem‐solving ability and decision‐making skills
