The clinical psychologist is part of a multidisciplinary team who provide care for women and their families who require additional support and intervention during the antenatal period and/or up until their infant/s are three years of age.Working with the multidisciplinary team and in partnership with other service providers, the Clinical Psychologist provides evidence based psychological assessment, and psychological treatment through individual, family parenting and group treatment programs. The Clinical Psychologist also supports other clinical staff through the provision of clinical consultation.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following CriteriaFull AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, relevant clinical area in psychology.Skills and or experience in consultation with and supervision of peers.Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy.Demonstrated skills and knowledge in psychological assessment. formulation and treatment of family and relationships during the perinatal period.Need more information?Click here for the Position DescriptionFind out more about applying for this positionFor role related queries or questions contact Julie Rogers on Julie.Rogers@health.nsw.gov.au or 0421 613 989.This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
