About the role
Hudson Mitre 10 has an full-time opportunity to work with our great team at our Katoomba Store. The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, must be motivated and be relied upon to work in a team environment and contribute to the performance of the store.
What you'll be doing:
* Owning all aspects of retail purchasing
* Monitor and collate stock orders from each department
* Create and monitor all pool orders
* Work with internal departments to resolve customer order related issues
* Ordering special and seasonal order items
* Provide amazing customer support and service - hands on position on the shop floor
You'll likely be a match if you have:
* A genuine desire to help people
* Initiative and time management skills
* High level of verbal and written communication skills
* Previous purchasing and stock management experience
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Proficient computer skills
* Previous experience in a trade environment and associated products (preferred but not essential)
* A strong focus and passion for OH&S
* Experience using POS (Point of Sale) Systems
