Job Description
As a skilled Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunications systems across large-scale infrastructure and commercial sites.
* Installing, testing, and commissioning DAS equipment in line with technical specifications.
* Conducting sweep testing, performance optimisation, and fault diagnosis of cabling, antennas, and telecommunications systems using specialised instruments.
* Installing and maintaining structured cabling systems (UTP for voice and data) to ensure seamless connectivity.
* Interpreting engineering drawings and site layouts to determine positioning and connections for telecommunications equipment.
* Installing and maintaining aerial and underground cabling networks, including mobile phone antenna systems.
* Joining, terminating, and sealing cables, and repairing or replacing defective components with subsequent testing.
