Role Overview: They are seeking experienced Finishing Concreters to join their construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of placing and finishing concrete on structural and civil projects within the estate, ensuring surfaces meet specification and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret construction plans and set-out drawings to determine levels and formwork requirements. Tie reinforcement steel accurately to plan specifications. Assemble and install formwork for footings, slabs, and other concrete elements. Shovel, screed, and level fresh concrete to required tolerances. Operate a finishing trowel machine to produce smooth, even surfaces. Edge and detail concrete finishes, ensuring crisp joints and edges. Monitor concrete curing and apply curing compounds or coverings as needed. Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a safe, clean, and organised condition. Candidate Profile: Proven experience as a Concreter / Finishing Concreter in civil or structural projects. Ability to read plans, calculate levels, and set out formwork. Skilled in tying steel reinforcement and erecting formwork. Competent in shovelling, screeding, edging, and operating a finishing trowel machine. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finishes. Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
