Job Description
We are looking for individuals who can assist parents in identifying achievable goals and activities that support their transition to employment and/or further education/training. This role involves referrals to specialist services, facilitating group activities, and linking parents with community-based supports.
You will effectively support participants to identify barriers to employment and set personal goals. Your tasks will include administration, accurate documentation, case notes, and maintaining regular engagement with participants.
This position requires up-to-date knowledge of current labour markets and programs. You should have a solid understanding of issues experienced by parents, including barriers to education, training, and employment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience working with families with multiple and complex needs.
* Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills.
* Strong compliance capabilities and IT skills.
Flexibility to travel to other sites from time to time is essential. A valid Driver's Licence and current Working with Children Check/Blue Card or willingness to gain one prior to commencement are also required.
