The Role:
This QLD State government department is seeking an A05 Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial insights, managing budgets, and supporting strategic decision-making to ensure the financial sustainability and success of the organisation. Responsibilities of the role include:
* Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insights
* Run the budgeting and forecasting process
* Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs
* Monitor budget variances and identify areas of concern or opportunity
* Continuously review and streamline financial processes
Your Profile:
* Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in financial management systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
