Position Information
Gledswood Hills Public School is a large and rapidly growing school, housed in state‐of‐the‐art facilities located in South Western Sydney. It is part of the Macarthur Network of Schools for the Department of Education. 1006 students are enrolled, where students from a language background other than English (LBOTE) make up 51% of the population and 3% identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Our school motto is "Together We Can" and reflects a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and belonging. The school has a strong focus on high‐quality teaching and learning and is dedicated to providing a caring and quality learning environment with a commitment to developing the whole child.
Remuneration: up to $156,253.00, with base salary ranging from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation.
Number of Positions: 1 (FTE 1.000)
Specific Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach K‐6 with demonstrated capacity to implement quality, differentiated literacy and numeracy programmes utilising effective assessment strategies and data to inform teaching practice and improve student outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to develop a positive classroom learning environment and implement inclusive strategies to foster student engagement, wellbeing, and positive behaviour in a diverse school community.
* Highly developed interpersonal skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in a team and build positive relationships with all members of the school community.
* Demonstrated ability to lead or support High Potential Gifted Education processes and programmes that add to the culture of Gledswood Hills Public School.
