BAE Systems is delighted to partner with Randstad, recruiting experienced Boilermakers and Welders for major naval shipbuilding programs in Osborne, SA.
Contingent/Casual positions with full-time hours available – Hourly base rate of $64.
About the Opportunity
We have a new opportunity for Boilermakers and Welders to join our Destroyer Capability Enhancement Program based at Osborne.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Undertake Tasks and Duties as directed by Production Supervision and or Trades Trainer within bounds of current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
About You
* Trade Qualifications
* Experience Fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding
* Ability to read drawings
* Strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment.
* Strong time keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication.
