About the Opportunity
Callcott & Downey Engineering Services has a new opportunity for a Sales Engineer – Hydraulics to join our team in Kewdale.
This role blends technical design with customer engagement, requiring a strong foundation in hydraulic cylinder construction and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored hydraulic solutions.
* Produce clear and accurate 2D hand sketches for our records.
* Use fine measuring equipment, for example, Micrometres and Verniers.
* Produce drawings using 2D AutoCAD.
* Gain an in-depth knowledge of our products.
* Provide technical support and product recommendations.
* Initiate production and procurement ensuring feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
* Prepare quotes, proposals, and documentation for clients.

About You
* Proven experience in hydraulic cylinder design and construction.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and confident hand sketching ability.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A methodical approach with strong attention to detail.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Engineering qualification or trade background.
