Clinical Lead Role in Community Mental Health & Wellbeing
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Lead to join our team in Northwest Tasmania.
About the Team
The Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS) is a unique combination of physical and mental health care. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop active partnerships to support sector integration and client outcomes, develop and implement ongoing quality improvement, and develop and implement strategies to meet current and future service priorities.
OPMHS is currently undergoing exciting reform, with new positions being created and teams extended across the State.
About the Role
* Provide high-level support to the Team Leader, including leadership and direction in the strategic development and management of a comprehensive multidisciplinary community mental health team.
* Effective management of specified human and physical resources.
* Leadership and change management to facilitate the progression of the current Mental Health Service Strategic Plan through the implementation of the associated model of care and relevant service policies.
* Optimal clinical processes and individual client outcomes.
* Enhanced consumer and carer participation at all levels of the service.
Requirements
* Demonstrated capacity to effectively undertake a coordination/leadership role within a multidisciplinary community setting, including providing supervision and support to other staff as required.
* Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, and a capacity to contribute towards the introduction of the model of care within a community setting.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to manage and coordinate the clinical activities of a multidisciplinary community mental health team.
