About the position
CSL Australia is currently looking for a permanent full time FOTB Electrician to join our Floating Transfer Offshore Barge (FOTB) on a roster schedule 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. This operation is based in Whyalla, South Australia. Electrician reports to the FOTB Electrical Engineering Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conduct daily inspection of electrical equipment
* Maintain electrical equipment
* Ensure operation of Transhipment Facility power generation
* Carry out preventative maintenance and repair
* Perform other duties as required, within the competencies/skill levels of employees concerned
About you
* Educational requirement: marine engineering background with experience in transhipment operations (preferred)
* Barge electrician experience (highly regarded)
* MSIC Card (required or ability to obtain)
* Current AMSA Medical (required or ability to obtain)
* Australian Citizen or Unlimited Working Rights (required)
