Motor Mechanic - Full-time Motor Mechanic (General) - Full-time position vacant at our automotive workshop NT AUTOCARE AND SALES PTY LTD T/A NT Autocare, ABN: 91627318450, at 46 smith street Ciccone, NT Australia 0870. Minimum 38 hours a week. Annual Salary (depending on experience/skills) between $77,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation.
Job Description
* Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles.
* Repair and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components, and referring to service manuals as needed
* Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines and parts with the assistance of computers
* Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checking parts
* Check and repair suspensions, brakes, fuel and cooling system.
* Tyre fitting, wheel balancing and alignment.
* Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and machinery in good condition.
* Deliver outstanding customer service at all times, ensuring a professional and polite manner when communicating with customers
* Full adherence to regulations, relating to pollution and health and safety at all times.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
* Coordinating with other mechanics where teamwork was needed.
Applicant Must Have
* Completed at least Cert-III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and minimum of 1 years of full-time work experience as a motor mechanic
* Must hold a current driver's license.
* A desire to achieve results.
