**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager / After-hours Coordinator, you will join the ward specialising in caring for patients recovering from advanced orthopaedic procedures, ENT, and plastic surgical procedures. In the ANUM role, you will closely monitor and assist the Director of Clinical Services and Nurse Unit Manager with human and equipment resource management. This role will also encompass the duties of an After-hours coordinator. You will work collaboratively and consult with doctors to achieve the best practice and patient outcomes.
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Current registration with AHPRA;
- Relevant qualifications;
- At least 3 years of nursing experience;
- Clinical leadership experience or post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded;
- Current clinical experience working in acute surgical services;
- Demonstrated personal commitment to ongoing professional development;
- The flexibility to work 7-day rotating shifts, including weekend and night shifts, are essential for this role;
- Strong clinical knowledge and competence within an acute surgical setting;
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

**REMUNERATION**
$ 51.92 - $ 53.64 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

The hospital, located in Melbourne, is an acute 72-bed Surgical and Medical facility in Hampton's bayside suburb. The facility has 3 Operating Theatres, 2 Procedure Rooms, a Day Surgery unit, and a 4 bed High Dependency unit. It also offers on-site Radiology and Pathology services, Physiotherapy services, and busy specialist consulting suites. A comprehensive range of services is provided, including Breast Surgery, ENT, Gastrointestinal Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.
