Position Overview
The Technical and Contract Specialist will play a vital role in the planning, delivery and ongoing management of Recycling & Waste services contracts. This position involves overseeing the contract framework for the division, developing technical specifications, assisting with contract implementation and managing contractor relationships to ensure compliance with key performance indicators.

Candidate Profile
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Procurement, Law, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in contract lifecycle management within a local government context.
* Strong commercial acumen with a focus on waste management and financial analysis.
* Proven ability to develop and present complex business cases effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and ability to foster relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to delivering outcomes that align with strategic goals.
Benefits & Work Environment
Permanent full‑time position with flexible work options, including a 19‑day month through Council's flex system. The role offers a competitive salary range of $113,000–$119,000 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation, access to a fitness passport, employee assistance program, annual flu shots, health and wellbeing programme and novated lease options.
