The role 
A fantastic prospect has become available in the Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships team in our Energy Training Sector. 
As the National Training Manager for the Energy Training Team, you will be responsible for the support, guidance and management of a National team spanning WA, QLD, SA and NT. 
This team services our Energy contracts and manages Apprentices & Trainees hosted by a wide range of major players in the Energy Industry. 
This role reports to and works closely with the General Manager of Major Projects in our Training team to ensure a high level of service delivery. 
You will have a strong focus on working with existing clients as well as developing new business opportunities and relationships. 
You will be working with large energy companies such as Shell, Woodside, Santos and ConocoPhillips to help them meet their workforce needs. 
You will also be involved with setting up new projects in the Renewables sector and supporting and developing new diversity programs across the board. 
Key Responsibilities 
Management of the Energy team and supporting the Training Coordinators to fulfill their roles 
Holding the team accountable to ensure they comply with all safety and statutory requirements 
Ensuring host company targets for recruitment are met 
Creating strategies for increasing diversity for our host companies 
Planning and delivery of recruitment strategies, including facilitating Assessment Centres across the country 
Managing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including clients, RTOs, Government Departments and internal business support functions 
Driving growth and new opportunities within the Energy business 
Managing and disseminating relevant information to the Energy team 
Initiating value-add propositions into client relationships that will deliver year on year growth within the portfolio 
Completion of tenders and proposals at a National level 
Managing budget reviews and overseeing the Energy business financials 
Working with host companies on their annual budgets and targets
