Family Law Liaison

Department: Sales

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Australia - Remote

Description

We are seeking a dynamic relationship-builder based in Australia who will champion engagement within the Family Law community and strengthen OurFamilyWizard's connections across the legal ecosystem.

As a Legal Liaison for OurFamilyWizard, you will serve as a trusted partner and educator—especially to Judges and court professionals—helping deepen understanding of OurFamilyWizard's mission, tools, and impact on families navigating separation and coparenting. By cultivating strong, meaningful relationships and advancing education throughout the judicial and legal communities, you will help expand the reach of OurFamilyWizard's platform and support our mission to empower families through effective communication and collaboration.

What you will accomplish:

* Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the Australian family law ecosystem—including Judges, Lawyers (Solicitors and Barristers), Mediators, Parenting Coordinators, Family Consultants—to strengthen awareness, trust, and advocacy for the OurFamilyWizard platform.
* Develop and deliver educational initiatives for the judiciary and family law professionals through workshops, webinars, presentations, facilitated discussions, and conference participation, highlighting best practices for using OFW to improve outcomes for families.
* Serve as an educational ambassador to Judges and court systems, including the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, by clearly presenting OFW's benefits, aligning content with judicial needs, and supporting ongoing engagement and professional development opportunities.
* Actively engage the broader family law community through relationship-driven outreach at industry events, regional meetings, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programs, positioning OurFamilyWizard as a trusted partner in effective co-parenting solutions.
* Gain a deep understanding of OurFamilyWizard's mission, technology, and services to communicate value clearly and authentically to diverse audiences across the Australian legal ecosystem.
* Identify and research influential practitioners, organisations, and professional bodies who can serve as champions for OFW adoption within their professional networks and client communities.
* Maintain and leverage the CRM database to track interactions, monitor relationship development, and ensure accurate, up-to-date records of professional engagement.
* Synthesize feedback and insights gathered from Judges and other family law professionals into actionable recommendations for internal teams, helping to refine user experience, educational resources, and product enhancements.

Who you are:

* Mission-driven. You're deeply committed to supporting families navigating separation and post-separation parenting. That sense of purpose gives meaning to your work and motivates you to help translate good intentions into real, positive outcomes for children and parents.
* Team-oriented. Collaboration comes naturally to you. You're skilled at aligning diverse perspectives, building consensus, and bringing people together around a shared mission. Your strong emotional intelligence helps you work effectively across teams and professional disciplines.
* Relationship-builder. You genuinely enjoy building and sustaining professional relationships. You thrive on connection, continuous learning, and creating meaningful professional interactions. You're comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport at networking events, conferences, and community forums.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail. You're reliable and thorough, with the ability to manage information, communications, and data effectively. This enables you to see initiatives through from concept to execution with consistency and care.
* Self-aware and empathetic. You lead with humility and insight. You have a strong understanding of the perspectives and needs of both professionals and families, and you use that awareness to guide your approach and decision-making.

What you bring:

* A strong understanding of the Australian family law landscape, including separation and parenting matters, mediation and dispute resolution practices, and the role of legal and non-legal professionals supporting families.
* Professional experience working within, alongside, or in support of the legal system, justice sector, or family services environment (e.g., legal technology, courts, mediation services, or professional education).
* Based in Australia, with the ability to travel regularly (approximately 40–50% of your time) within your designated region to engage with professionals, attend conferences, and build community relationships.
* A relevant qualification such as a law degree, social work degree, psychology or counselling qualification, mediation or dispute resolution accreditation, or comparable professional certification.
* Bonus: Experience in account management, stakeholder engagement, or relationship management roles.
* Bonus: Experience using CRM systems or modern customer, relationship, or engagement management platforms.
