Join Our Finance Team as a Corporate Accountant – Risk Division
Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take on a strategic role in a dynamic environment? We're seeking a Corporate Accountant to support our Risk Division, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. This is a key opportunity to lead financial operations and contribute to high-impact decision‐making.
What You'll Be Doing
* Systems accounting and financial control
* General ledger administration and treasury operations
* Reinsurance Accounting
* Managing the investments portfolio
* Preparing consolidated financial statements and annual reports
* Management accounting and month‐end reporting
* Supervising 2 x Assistant accountants
What You Bring
* Strong knowledge of insurance accounting standards and their implementation
* Project management skills and the ability to drive initiatives forward
* Proven experience producing consolidated annual financial statements
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently with a high level of attention to detail
* Analytical thinking and problem‐solving capabilities
Your Experience
* CA or CPA qualifications with 5 years' experience post qualification
* Familiarity with accounting and banking software
* Experience in the insurance industry
* Understanding of APRA and ASIC regulatory requirements
