About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and collaborativeHASS teacher who will assist us in delivering high quality teachingand learning. The successful canddiate will be experienced,qualified and capable of teaching year 7-10 HASS. There may befuture opportunities to teach in an area of specilsation in Years11 and 12. The senior subjects currently offered in the Individualsand Society faculty are: Aboriginal Studies, History(Ancient/Modern), Geography, Economics and Business, Legal Studies,Global Politics, and Pschology.
As we offer both IBDP and the NSW HSC, candidates withexpereince in these area would be welcomed, although thisexperience is not essential.

* Experience in modelling outstanding teaching practice inand beyond the classroom
* Subject expertise and the ability to teach inclusivelyacross a broad age and ability range

* Experience of, or willingness to train for, teaching theAustralian Curriculum and, where relevant, the Higher SchoolCertificate and/or the International Baccalaureate
* Enthusiastic commitment to participating in theSchool's pastoral and co-curricular program
* Expertise in HASS
* Commitment to the full life of an Independent school and awillingness to engage in School activities out of regularhours
* A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfareof children
