**The Role**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Rating Specialist to join our team! You will manage the Earnix rating engines and pricing deployment for our insurance bands NRMA & RACV.
You will also contribute to the development and building of the pricing engine and improvements of pricing deployments for both now and in the future. As well as provide coaching to other analysts via leading projects, peer reviews and training sessions.
**What you'll be doing**
- Build, test and implement projects and enhancements
- Consult with the Rating Engine product architect, other technical teams and team members within own team
- Transform business requirements into technical designs/specifications
- Co-ordinate and implement new pricing factors in Earnix
- Explain technical issues to internal customers
- Identify and raise risks and concerns in relation to pricing and customer impacts
- Review work requests and provide estimates
- Identify changes in product, pricing and underwriting that contribute towards the achievement of business objectives
- Support the portfolio and pricing teams with detailed, consistent and accurate pricing and underwriting information
- Consider cross initiative impacts in relation to testing and pro-active involvement and review of internal processes to improve testing processes.
**Skills & Experience**
- 5+ years experience in insurance pricing and underwriting, including market awareness, product and systems knowledge
- Strong testing & coding skills - particularly in Excel, XML and Python, and the ability to speak tech to internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and execute change across functions with excellent communication and influencing skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
